`Look up and you will see that you are never alone.’ This is the advice the friendly beetle gives to the caterpillar Aya after she falls from her egg straight into the big world. We follow Aya on her adventurous journey, in which she transforms from a small, helpless caterpillar to a beautiful, blue butterfly.
This poetic artist picture book, that celebrates diversity and individuality, was created by the artist couple Silke and Jeppe Hein and brought to life through their colorful watercolors and collages.
The text was written by children's editor Elisabeth Kiertzner in close dialogue with Jeppe and Silke Hein
