Two square mirrors with four subtle folds are mounted on the wall. The artworks alludes to the Kawasaki theorem about the mathematics of paper folding, which determines whether a crease pattern with a single vertex can be folded to create a flat form. Transferred from paper to mirror, a series of uniquely folded mirrors emerges, appearing flat at first sight and revealing their sculptural character only upon closer inspection. The multifaceted reflections produce a fragmented view of the surrounding and enable the viewer to look at different parts of the space at the same time. When viewed from a closer vantage point, the mirror presents either partial or multiple reflections, sometimes making the viewer disappear completely.
